Police Hunt Tips on Alice Springs Aggravated Robbery 12 November

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred on Monday evening in Alice Springs.

Around 10am yesterday, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of a robbery at a unit on Mallam Crescent in Sadadeen.

It is alleged an unknown female offender unlawfully entered the unit sometime during Monday evening and knocked the male resident, aged in his 70's, to the floor, before stealing his phone and fleeing the scene. The victim was unable to call for assistance and remained on the floor until a neighbour was alerted.

Members from Southern Crime, Strike Force Viper and general duties attended and investigations are ongoing. The victim was assessed by St John Ambulance at the scene and required no further medical treatment.
