Police Hunt Tips: Women Filmed in Camperdown Bathroom

Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was seen to film women in Sydney's Inner West yesterday.

Officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command have commenced an investigation after reports a man was seen to record women inside a toilet block at a university campus in Camperdown.

Police were told about 11.50am on Thursday 11 September 2025, a man was seen to enter the women's bathroom and hold a mobile phone over a toilet cubicle door before he was disturbed.

Police have released an image of a man who they believe can assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, of medium build with black hair. He is depicted wearing black pants, a black top, a dark grey jacket, white runners and carrying a light blue backpack.
