Police investigate a series of chemist thefts in Warrnambool and Portland

Warrnambool police are investigating following a number of thefts earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told that an unknown man attended at the Raglan Parade chemist between 10am and 10.30am on 9 July.

Whilst in the store the man filled a trolley with various food and cosmetic items before leaving the store without paying for the items.

Investigators believe the same man attended a Liebig Street, pharmacy between 5.10pm and 5.40pm on 16 July.

He filled a black bag with various vitamins and supplement items before walking out of the store without paying for the items.

On 16 July, the man returned to the Raglan Parade pharmacy between 6.00pm and 6.15pm.

On this occasion, he placed a number of items in to a black bag and walked out of the store.

It is believed the man then attended at a pharmacy on Percy Street, Portland at approximately 12.30pm on 17 July.

Police have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is perceived to be of Indian sub-continental appearance with dark hair and was unshaven.

Anyone who recognises the pair or has information in relation to the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
