Police investigate Alphington burglary

Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary at an address in Alphington last month, Victoria Police say.

It is believed an unknown offender entered a Grange Road property sometime between 7am and 7pm on 8 June.

A number of electronic items as well as the victim’s ATM card were stolen during the burglary.

The victim’s card was subsequently used to purchase a number of items at a shopping centre on McDonalds Road in Mill Park about 3pm the same day.

Investigators have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries in the hope someone may recognise him.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
