POLICE INVESTIGATE ALTONA NORTH ARMED ROBBERY

Altona North Embona Taskforce detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in Altona North earlier this week, Victoria Police say.

Detectives believe two men entered a fast food store at the intersection of Blackshaws Road and Millers Road about 1.50am on 26 November and threatened staff before stealing money from the registers.

Both men were believed to be armed, one with a knife and the other with a firearm.

A white sedan was used by these men and police believe this is a white Nissan Pulsar sedan registration 1GT9RZ which was stolen from Newport before the armed robbery.

Investigators have released CCTV footage of the men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information or dash cam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
