Police investigate anti-Semitic graffiti

South Melbourne police are investigating after anti-Semitic graffiti was sprayed in Albert Park and Middle Park earlier this month.

Investigators believe a man was in Ashworth Street about 3.30pm on Tuesday 16 June when he spray painted the roadway.

Officers believe the man then walked to Mills Street, Middle Park and sprayed a symbol and vilifying words on the brick wall of a kindergarten.

The man then left the area.

Police have released an image of a man that they wish to speak to and who may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
