Police investigate armed robbery at Acacia Ridge 15 February

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a business in Acacia Ridge overnight.

Around 7.30pm a man entered the Beaudesert Road business armed with a knife and brandished it at staff, corralling them into an isolated area of the business.

He then demanded a male employee open the register, who complied and the man fled on foot with a sum of money.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 175cm tall with a slim build and aged 25-35-years. He was wearing a blue bandana covering his face, with dark clothing and a black backpack. He wore a white cap.

Police are appealing for motorists, business and homeowners along Beaudesert Road and surrounds to check dashcam and CCTV between 7pm and 8pm and come forward with any sightings.
