Police are investigating the armed robbery of a racing and sports betting establishment in Cannon Hill yesterday afternoon (December 9).
Just after 5pm, a man entered the Wynnum Road business armed with a knife.
He approached the cashier with the knife and motioned for him to open the cash register.
The man then left on foot with a sum of cash.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
