Police investigate armed robbery at Deception

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a service station at Deception Bay last night (January 26).

At about 10.30pm, a man aged in his twenties entered the business on Deception Bay Road and threaten staff that he had a knife and demanded staff hand over money.

The man fled the store a short time later with a quantity of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police are appealing to any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or have relevant information to contact police.
