Police investigate armed robbery at Durack bottleshop - CCTV released

Police are appealing to the public for information in relation to an armed robbery of a Durack liquor store on Monday, March 14.

Just before 7pm a man armed with a knife and hammer has approached the King Avenue drive-through store, threatening the 69-year-old male attendant and demanding money.

The man took a quantity of cash, dropping some on his way out, before fleeing on foot.

No one was physically injured.

Detectives are releasing CCTV footage of the incident and appealing for anyone who may recognise the man involved to contact police.

The man is believed to be in his early to mid 20's, Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm call with a proportionate build.

He was wearing a black mask, green cap, white jumper, long black pants and black Nike brand sneakers.

Anyone with information or who has relevant dashcam vision in the area at the time, is also urged to come forward.
