Police investigate armed robbery at Durack 8 September

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a licensed premises in Durack yesterday evening.

A man entered the business on King Avenue around 6.10pm, jumped over the counter and produced a knife.

He then grabbed a female employee by her collar and made threats, demanding money.

The woman complied and handed over a sum of cash from the tills.

The man then fled the building, leaving in a vehicle that was waiting outside.

He is described as wearing a green hooded jumper with a black beanie and face covering.

Investigations are continuing.
