Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Eastern Heights

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a service station in Eastern Heights this morning, June 16.

Around 2.30am a woman was refuelling her vehicle at a business on Robertson Road when she was approached by two unknown men who threatened her with a screwdriver.

When the woman refused to hand over her car keys she was knocked to the ground by one of the offenders.

The other offender then entered the woman's vehicle stealing a sum of money and other personal belongings before both offenders fled the scene on foot.

A 23-year-old Eastern Heights woman received minor injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant dashcam in the area to contact police.

Investigations continue.
