Police investigate armed robbery at Edmonton

Investigators are seeking public assistance to locate two men following an armed robbery in Edmonton this morning.

Around 3am two men with their faces covered entered the service station armed with screw drivers.

One man approached the counter and threatened an employee before demanding money and other items. They left the scene a short time later with a small quantity of cigarettes and were last seen running in a westerly direction.

One man is approximately 175cm tall with black hair and was wearing a black hooded-jumper and dark track suit shorts. The second man is described as approximately 180cm tall and was wearing a grey hooded-jumper and grey track suit pants.

No one was physically inured in the incident.
