Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Hervey Bay 20 October

Police are appealing for public assistance after a 17-year-old boy was robbed and his car stolen in Point Vernon tonight.

Around 8.30pm the boy was parked in his Triton ute on Charleton Esplanade when he was approach by three males.

They threatened the boy with a knife, demanding his ute.

The white Mitsubishi Triton dual cab unit (pictured) with Queensland registration 111JO5 remains outstanding.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant vision to contact police.

The boy was not physically injured during the incident.

Investigations remain ongoing.
