Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Molendinar in the early hours of this morning.
Around 12.55am a man entered the Southport Nerang Road business and approached the console operator at the counter. He produced a knife and made demands for money and tobacco.
He obtained both and left the store on foot.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
