Police investigate armed robbery at Mt Gambier, South Australia

Limestone Coast Police are investigating an armed robbery after a Mt Gambier chemist was targeted earlier tonight.

Just before 7pm on Thursday 18 July, a man armed with what appeared to be a handgun, entered a chemist on Jubilee Highway W and demanded drugs.

The man who is believed to be about 50-years-old, wearing a full bodied blue disposable suit and wearing a green face mask, left the chemist on foot with small amount of prescription drugs.

Police patrols searched the area but the suspect wasn't located.

There were no injuries in the incident.
