Police investigate armed robbery at Pimlico 6 December

Stuart detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a Pimlico hotel this morning by two men armed with knives.

Around 11.15am the armed men entered the French Street business and threatened staff before stealing a sum of cash.

They fled in black Dodge SUV stolen earlier this morning from a Deeragun address. This vehicle was located burnt out at 2.30pm today near the intersection of Hughes and Campbell streets, Hermit Park.

No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
