Police investigate armed robbery at Underwood

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station last night.

At 7.30pm a man entered the Logan Road business and jumped the counter before filling a bag with tobacco products.

He then produced a knife and demanded the staff member open the cash register before putting a sum of cash into his bag.

He then fled the scene by running across Logan Road and south along the service road.

No one was physically injured during the incident and investigations are ongoing.
