Police investigate armed robbery at Victoria Point

Police are investigating an armed robbery of a convenience store in Victoria Point this afternoon.

Around 5.30pm, a man entered a store on the corner of Colburn Avenue and Thompson Street and produced a hand gun before demanding cash and tobacco.

Investigators are seeking any dashcam or CCTV footage between 5pm and 6pm depicting a white sedan travelling in Benfer Road, Colburn Avenue, Link Road, Thompson Street, Holz Street, Yeo Street or Redland Bay Road Cleveland.

Anyone with information or dashcam or CCTV footage is urged to contact police.
