Police investigate armed robbery – Devonport hotel, TAS

Devonport CIB is investigating an armed robbery at a Devonport hotel this morning.
Police were called to the Alexander Hotel in Formby Road, Devonport, about 11am today.
Police allege two offenders, one armed with a knife, entered the hotel and demanded money from the staff.
No staff or customers were injured during the incident.
The offenders have then fled the scene driving a 1999 white Nissan Pulsar vehicle registration number EN8605.
The vehicle was last sighted on the Bass Highway in the vicinity of Westbury.
There are a number of police units in the area.
Anyone who observes the white Nissan Pulsar is asked to phone Police on 000 immediately, Tasmania Police say.
