Dutton Park detectives are investigating an attempted armed robbery at Coorparoo last night, Tuesday September 27.
Initial enquires indicate around 10:20pm a 37-year-old woman was parked in a vehicle on Temple Street before a grey Volkswagen Passat drove up and parked in front of the woman.
A group emerged from the vehicle, with one member producing a knife, and attempted to enter the woman's vehicle.
The group was unable to gain entry to the vehicle and fled the scene in the Volkswagen towards Bennetts Road.
The woman was not physically harmed in the incident.
Detectives are appealing for any members of the public who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the area surrounding Temple Street around the time of the incident to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
