Police investigate attempted armed robbery at Berserker

Rockhampton detectives investigating the attempted armed robbery of a Berserker business on Monday, February 6 have released CCTV.

Investigations indicate a man entered the Musgrave Street store just after 6.30pm, produced a large machete and threatened two employees, a man and woman.

The man fled empty handed after a chair was thrown at him.

The two employees were not physically injured.

The man was wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper, white and red covering over his face, grey track pants, white shoes and carrying a green duffle-type bag.

Anyone with any information which could assist with this investigation, or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV is urged to contact police.
