Police are currently on scene at a collision in Bell Park, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told two vehicles collided at the intersection of Thompson Road and Armstrong Avenue about 11am.
It is believed a blue Honda sedan was travelling south on Thompson Road and collided with a Hyundai sedan.
The male driver of the Honda, has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A female passenger in the Hyundai has also been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Bomb Response Unit are conducting safety checks on one of the vehicles.
The investigation is ongoing and the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined.
Traffic is being diverted and police are requesting motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area.
Police do not believe there is any immediate threat to public safety. Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
