Police investigate brewery break in

Detectives from Yarra Ranges Crime Investigation Unit are investigating a burglary that took place in a brewery in the Yarra Valley earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told a man attended the brewery along Maroondah Highway at 4am on January 3.

He was in possession of a ladder which he used to force open a second storey window.

Upon entering the store, the man located two safes and exited the brewery in possession with the safes and a quantity of cash.

The offender is described as having a thin build and a large nose and is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance.

He was wearing a dark hooded jumped with the Nike logo on it, which appears white in images due to infa red vision

Investigators have released images depicting the man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
