Police investigate Broadford armed robbery

Mitchell Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Broadford last month, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told an unknown man attended the High Street business about 9.30pm on Saturday 13 March.

The man, who was armed with a knife, threatened a male and female employee before taking a sum of cash and fleeing on foot.

Neither the 27-year-old woman or 38-year-old man were injured during the incident.

Investigators have released CCTV of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man was wearing a grey hooded top with dark coloured sleeves, blue tracksuit pants, brown work boots, and had a white cloth covering his face.

He was also wearing a large blue glove on his left, similar to a welding glove.

The man was described as being above average in height and had a stocky build.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
