Police investigate Bruny Island drone incident, TAS

Tasmania Police has interviewed the 37 year old drone pilot from Howrah who has been fully co-operative with police following an incident involving a drone on Bruny Island on Christmas Day, Tasmania Police say.

Police are currently obtaining witness statements and will then forward on to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

CASA is the regulatory body for drones and will determine what or whether further action is required in relation to this incident.
