Ballarat Criminal Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in Buninyong on the weekend, Victoria Police say.
It is believed two offenders entered the garage of the Webbs Hill Road home about 9.45am on 24 September.
The offenders searched two vehicles that were parked in the garage; a 2016 grey Toyota Hilux and a 2015 white Mercedes sedan rego ADQ586.
The Mercedes was then stolen from the premises and later sighted in the Ballarat area.
The Mercedes was later located in a garage in Sebastopol.
Investigators have released images and CCTV of a male they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
