Police investigate burglaries in Cobram

Cobram Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a number of burglaries in Cobram overnight, Victoria Police say.

It is believed two unknown men broke into six businesses on Station Street and Punt Road between 10.30pm and 1.30am.

Cash, jewellery and a camera were stolen.

The offenders are both described as Caucasian in appearance and aged in their 20s.

They were both wearing shorts runners and hooded jumpers.

Investigators have released CCTV and images of two men that may be able to assist with their investigation.

In a separate incident, two unknown male offenders drove a Toyota Hilux Dual Cab utility to a mechanic workshop on Colgan Street between 4.30am and 4.50am.

The offenders were both wearing balaclavas when they forced entry to a roller door and stole 4WD equipment and a white Nissan Patrol, registration TTE 819.

The offenders then fled the scene in both vehicles.

The offenders utility is described as having two mag wheels on the left side and the right side has two steel wheels.

It is not believed the incidents are linked.

Investigators have released CCTV and images of the Toyota Hilux utility and a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Police are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in both areas.
