Homicide Squad detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Albanvale this morning.
Police were called to an Opie Road address where a man was located unconscious with head injuries about 7.45am.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the 56-year-old Albanvale man died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
