Police investigate deceptions in Broadmeadows

Police are appealing for assistance to identify two men following a number of deceptions in Broadmeadows and the Melbourne CBD.

Detectives have been told the victim's credit card was possibly stolen from his letterbox in the weeks preceding.

The credit card was subsequently used in several stores on 22 March to make a series of purchases throughout Broadmeadows and Melbourne between 2.30am and 12pm.

Investigators have released images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The two men were seen driving a white Volkswagen Transporter van bearing stolen registration plates ZZG589.

The first man is described as being of Middle-Eastern appearance, in his early 20s, around 170cm tall with a solid build and short brown hair.

At the time of the incident he was seen wearing a white baseball cap, glasses with a dark-coloured rim, a white and red Adidas singlet, black Adidas shorts and carrying a black shoulder bag.

The second man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20s, around 180cm tall with a slim build and various tattoos on his arms.

At the time this man was seen wearing a black cap, a black Adidas t-shirt and dark-blue ripped jeans.
