Police investigate deceptions in Prahran

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify a man after a series of thefts from vehicle and deceptions in the Prahran area on 24 February.

Investigators have been told a number of vehicles parked on Thomas Street, Prahran and Windsor and Wattletree roads, Armadale were broken into between 7.15pm and 9.30pm.

A credit card which was stolen during the theft was then used to purchase items at a supermarket in nearby Cato street about 730pm.

Police have released an image of a man who they hope will be able to assist with their enquiries.
