Police investigate Eaglehawk aggravated burglary

Police have released images of a man on a motorcycle they wish to speak to following an aggravated burglary in Eaglehawk yesterday, Victoria Police say.

A woman aged in her 20s was inside a house on Rossdale Drive when she heard a back door opening about 3.50pm.

It’s believed a man had opened a side gate of the property then walked to the rear and gone inside.

Once he entered the house, he then looked through a wardrobe and ensuite in the master bedroom.

The woman, who thought it was a family member, called out to the person.

He then left through the same back door and the victim heard a motorcycle starting.

It’s believed the man rode away from the premises and a motorcycle was seen shortly after travelling east along Simpsons Road before turning right on to McClelland Drive.

No one was injured during the incident and police do not believe anything was taken from the house.

The male is described as being large and wearing a singlet at the time.

The motorcycle is described as being black with a carbon fibre type pattern on it.

Police have released images of a man on a motorcycle that they wish to speak to.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
