Police investigate factory fire Campbellfield

Police are investigating a deliberately lit fire at a caravan repair business in Campbellfield earlier this morning, Victoria Police say.

Emergency services were called to Merola Way after a passer-by noticed the fire at 4.20am.

Two cars and a caravan, parked in the forecourt of the factory, were completely destroyed by fire while an office in the factory was broken into.

The premises were unoccupied at the time and police are treating the fire as suspicious.

Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives urge anyone with information about the fire to contact Crime Stoppers.
