Wellington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a suspicious factory fire in Heyfield on Friday night, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to a fire at a plaster factory in an industrial area on Commercial Road about 10.15pm.
The fire caused extensive damage to the factory and no one was inside at the time of the blaze.
Police are treating the fire as suspicious and are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have seen suspicious activity in the area at the time.
Anyone with information about the fire is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
