Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash which occurred on the Bruce Highway, south of Eden Lassie Creek near Bowen yesterday, 16 July.
At approximately 5.10pm, witnesses reported seeing a white Ford Ranger utility travelling southbound on the highway before it left the roadway and came to a stop amongst trees.
The driver, a 60-year-old Bucasia man, was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
