Police Investigate Fatal Crash in Moolboolaman

Two men have died following a traffic crash at Moolboolaman, west of Gin Gin last night,14 September.

Around 7pm, emergency services were called to Gin Gin Mount Perry Road following reports a Chrysler Crossfire had crashed and rolled with two occupants inside, obstructing the road.

A Toyota Hilux, that had attempted to avoid the crashed Chrysler, subsequently left the road and also crashed.

The driver of the Chrysler, a 61-year-old Wonbah man, and his passenger, a 45-year-old Wonbah man, both died at the scene.

The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota, a 19-year-old South Kolan man, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Bundaberg Hospital.

Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) investigations are continuing.
