Police are investigating after a man was located with stab wounds in North Melbourne this morning, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to Courtney Street about 4.45am, where the man was found near the entrance to some flats.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated by paramedics at the scene.
He was taken to hospital but died shortly after.
Police are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding his death and the investigation is ongoing.
