Police investigate fatal workplace incident in Sydney City

Police are investigating after a man died in a work place incident in Sydney today.

About 10am Friday (29 November 2019), police and emergency services were called to a construction site following reports a man had been injured in a workplace incident.

A 49-year-old man suffered significant injuries and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

He was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

A crime scene has been established and police are conducting inquiries into the circumstances of the incident.

Police will prepare a report for the information of the coroner.

WorkSafe NSW have been notified.
