Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information following an altercation in a street where an unidentified victim was assaulted and threatened by two offenders armed with a firearm in Reservoir, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told the incident occurred in Shapiro Court about 10.30pm last night.
An altercation took place and one of the offenders produced a firearm and threatened the victim.
No shots were fired during the incident.
Police have released the below image of a car believed to be involved in the incident.
The car is described as a light blue-coloured late-model station wagon.
At this stage, the identities of the two offenders and the victim remain unknown.
Anyone who may have seen the car in the area at the time of the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
