Horsham Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a suspicious fire in Nhill last month, Victoria Police say.
It is believed an unknown offender has entered a firewood storage yard on Park Street about 9.20pm on 28 September.
A short time later, a fire has started and emergency services were called to the scene.
The fire was quickly brought under control and only minor damage was caused to property at the address.
A man was seen loitering in the area immediately before the fire and police are keen to speak to anyone that may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time.
