Police investigate Footscray aggravated burglary

Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in Footscray last month.

A man broke into a Barkley Street apartment while the female victim was asleep inside about 5.40am on 10 November.

The offender stole personal items belonging to the victim before leaving the scene.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, about 30-35 years-old, with a slim build and has a tattoo on his left forearm.
