Police investigate hit-run crash at Echunga - missing driver found, SA

Police are investigating a hit-run crash at Echunga, where four men were injured, according to SA Police.

Just before 7am, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Battunga Road and Braendler Road after reports of a four-car collision.

The driver of a Mazda ute, a 63-year-old Aldinga Beach man suffered head injuries and was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

The male driver of a Holden ute and the two men in a Toyota ute also suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene by paramedics.

The male driver of a Nissan Pulsar sedan that was involved in the crash has contacted police and is assisting them with their enquiries.

All roads have been reopened, but traffic and speed restrictions will be in place most of today.
