Police investigate home invasion - Baulkham Hills

Investigations are underway following a home invasion in Sydney's north-west today.

Just before 2.30am (Tuesday 17 December 2019), emergency services were called to a house on John Street, Baulkham Hills, following reports of a home invasion.

Police have been told the occupant, an 87-year-old man, awoke to find two unknown men in his house, who demanded money from him.

The two men – dressed in all black with their faces covered – stole cash before fleeing the scene. The man was not injured during the incident.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, with assistance from the Dog Unit and Ryde Police Area Command.
