Police are investigating a deliberately lit house fire at Rokeby earlier this morning, Tasmania Police say.
Around 2am, Tasmania Police and Tasmania Fire Service attended the fire at 26/2 Joseph Street.
The fire caused superficial damage to the inside of the unoccupied Mission Australia house, with an estimated damage bill of around $30,000. No one was injured in the fire.
Anyone with information regarding the fire, or noticed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the fire, is asked to contact Bellerive CIB on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
