A woman has been arrested following investigations into a house fire at Ryde overnight.
Emergency services were called to a townhouse on Bailey Crescent about 10pm (Wednesday February 2020) after reports a house was well alight.
On arrival police spoke with a number of residents that had self-evacuated; fortunately, no one was injured.
The townhouse sustained significant structural damage.
A woman, aged 20, who resides at the location, was arrested at the scene after police were informed of an alleged domestic dispute that occurred prior to arrival of police.
She was taken to Ryde Police Station where she is assisting police with inquiries.
