Police are investigating after a woman was found unconscious in the CBD this evening.
Just after 8pm Wednesday 14 August, police were called to Whitmore Square after receiving information of a woman lying unconscious on the road.
Police patrols attended and the woman was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Whitmore square is currently closed while police investigate and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
Detectives from Eastern District CIB and forensic officers have attended.
