Police investigate Kilmore bank burglary

Mitchell Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance to help identify two burglars who broke into a bank in Kilmore last week, Victoria Police say.

The burglary took place at the Sydney Street bank about 4am on Thursday 22 November.

The two men forced entry to the premises before attempting to gain access to teller drawers and the safe area.

The pair fled empty handed.

Police have released images of two men who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The first man is perceived to be Caucasian, approximately 20 years-old and about 170cm tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a dark coloured Adidas hoodie, a black scarf or similar covering his face, dark coloured pants with tape around the calves, dark coloured gloves and black sneakers, and was carrying a dark grey shoulder bag.

The second man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, approximately 20 years old and 165cm tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a brown hoodie with a black T-Shirt over the top with large red text on the back reading "NEVER SILENT ALWAYS BRAVE".

He has a scarf or similar covering his face and a battery powered headlamp.

He was wearing dark coloured trousers and sneakers, a grey gardening style glove on his left hand and a black glove on his right hand, and was carrying a black shoulder bag and jemmy bar.
