Moorabool Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a shot was fired at a house in Long Forest earlier this week.
It is understood a shot was fired through the window of a property on Canopus Circuit about 8.40pm on Tuesday, 27 May.
A 41-year-old woman was inside the property at the time of the incident.
She was not physically injured.
Police are working to establish the circumstances of the incident however at this early stage in the investigation, do not believe the incident was targeted.
The investigation remains ongoing.
