Police investigate Lynbrook theft and deceptions

Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance to help identify a man and a woman following a theft and subsequent deceptions and fraud in Lynbrook earlier this year.

Investigators have been told the victim, a 61-year-old Hampton Park woman, attended a hotel on 14 March.

While in the gaming room, a man spoke to the victim distracting her while another woman took her purse from inside her hand bag.

Bank cards contained within her purse were then used at various locations.

At the time he was wearing a black KSCY brand t-shirt.
