Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a large building fire in Melbourne Tuesday night.
Emergency services were called to the building at the intersection of Lonsdale Street and King Street following reports the building was on fire about 12.15am.
The blaze caused major damage to the building and a crime scene has been set up.
Fire investigators will attend the scene this morning.
There will be major delays as the intersection will be closed to traffic and pedestrians for some time.
